Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist competing in the flyweight division in the UFC. Valentina is her older sister, and also a UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sporting career with a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko took the title and beat Suzane Miller at the end of the tournament by an the unanimous vote. Antonina was awarded the Silver Medal in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008, a Gold Medal in 2011 and in the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia has started her career as a professional at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. It was also the WMC World Championships also staged in 2016, and she won the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thai World Champion. Antonina's most recent fight took place against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimous decision. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She won this fight via TKO after round 2. Her following two matches were staged at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she returned to the ring in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following her departure from the competition. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the fight. Antonina's UFC contract was extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious via unanimous decision but losing her following fight to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision. Antonina recovered from her loss and defeated Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the fight of the night bonus for the bout. Shevchenko went 1-2 during her subsequent three bouts, defeating Ariane Lipski, and then losing to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
